Perfect Garden

He only wanted a garden
Not just any,
He wanted the perfect garden

So he trimmed away many

The flowers kept on dying
Bugs he killed countless,
Yet they kept on flying

He watered for what seemed timeless

He trimmed, cut, and spruced
He only wanted a garden,
Taking a break he deduced

He only wanted the perfect garden

Yet as he looked back
Working all night, it was now dawn,
All the bugs had left, the flowers been clipped, and sweat trickled down his back

His garden was now gone.

With the intention of making a fun light piece, I quite enjoyed the spring feel captured in this. Although this poem could mean much more. It should be as simple or as complicated as you wish.
