I’ve lost my keys
Where could they be?
I’ve searched my room and could not see
a space or spot
(am i cold or hot?)
no corner where they could have got.
And I just had them in my hand
reader, I simply cannot stand
to lose my things.
have they sprouted leath’ry wings?
I wrack and search and pick my mind
where is a place that I might find
beginning to
lose my
Temper.

I’ve lost my Keys and now I’m late
to make this very crucial date
Isnt fair to have this happen
my rage is a great fiery dragon
this plight which always seeks to bite me
irks me hurts me always works me
to the brink of self combustion
hands begin to wreak destruction
They aren’t here! They aren’t here!
Oh luckless breakables shake with fear
for now I’ve
lost my
Mind.

They were just upon my hand,
have they gone to pixie land?
Carried there by little pixies
mad with me
for being bad?
evil things to make me sad
I’ll follow them, I’ll track them down
They’llNotSucceedToMakeMeFrown
I’llLeaveRightNow,I HATETolose

Where did I put my shoes…?

The author's comments:
I wrote this to put a humorous twist on the maddening skill I seem to have for losing things. This is for anyone who shares my frustration with losing things.
