Next time you drive your car to work, you’ll notice.
Next time you smoke your pipe in the palm of your hand, you’ll notice.
Next time you jab the old’ tree with your human hand; clenched to an axe or hatchet, you’ll surely notice.

You won’t see it, but you may feel it, and you’ll like at first.
A warm summer day with your friends
During the fist of winter: a hard splash in the ocean.

But then, it will come back at you.
Bite you; poison you with its venom
Like a snake or dangerous bug.
You’ll drown in acid rain and cook in sun rays of radiation:
Invading your cells, ripping your flesh, rusting your bones.
Mother would not be pleased.

When I’m not around,
You best take care of it.

I like the third stanza a lot. Not entirely sure what this poem is about, but your description and choice of words helped me to understand it. Nice job.
