Brave Home
A seemingly endless black void encompassed my helmet
as I continued to drift aimlessly against my will. An invisible pull
guided me along in obscure nothingness, and then I was tumbling over and over.
Yet, a brief flash of brilliant blue eased my panting. The tumbling slowed and the image refined
into shades of white, brown, and green. Billowing clouds, sapphire seas, and thick vegetation
filled my once bleak perspective. The vibrant masses, illuminated and nurtured by the great star,
stood in stoic silence amongst the infinite darkness.
I was staring at a planet, a bright, fearless planet.
 I was staring at home.
