Thinking of You
As I am walking through the trees,
I think of you.
As I am standing in the rain,
I think of you.
As I am running with the wind,
I think of you.
As I am riding through the hills,
I think of you.
As I am staring at the stars,
I think of you.
I see you in the flowers.
I see you in the leaves.
I see you in the clouds.
And I see you in the breeze.
Every song I hear, it reminds me of you.
Every place I go, I wish you were there too.
Beside me laughing,
and smiling,
and talking,
and crying.
I want you there
Next to me.
I want you there
For eternity.
You are my light in the dark.
My saving angel of the Lord.
You are my every thought,
when I am alone and bored.
You are my classmate.
You are my friend.
You are my pal.
You’ll be my end.
For we will never be together,
but I hope we never part.
For you are surely my spirit,
and you have taken my heart.
