Predestined
It is a falsehood.
 A sort of sick deception;
 the Devil’s hypnotic that deludes
 even the strong-willed, with
 hopes from God that we won’t
 be mislead and unconditional faith
 will strike our conscience.
 But maybe it’s destiny’s cold path,
 not mendacity at all.
 Maybe it is guidance to serene
 angel wings, to manifestation
 of divinity.
 Either way, fear intervenes.
 The fear of what could be,
 what will be,
 what won’t be.
 This should not exist,
 for if God has allowed
 fate to deliver her
 finite way,
 then what is mystic
 should not be analyzed;
 what has fallen will rise.
