1. down her throat He blew life
wet and salty
a body bent in His shadow
silently screaming
He slithered away
letting her fall like a ripened fruit
she fell

2. He made me a woman
a repackaged body hiding an unpackaged my soul
dirty and scared
i was scared

3. silently screaming
i lost my voice
tied in broken whispers
my throat still hurts

4. banished from my body
my bones are built from the soil He made fertile
my instincts are broken strings
stretched too far
i broke
wound in fragments of who i was
running from the one i love most

5. He calls me
in my nakedness
i hide
afraid
broken
my cold lips
cracked

6. she is a body
deconstructed
gone i am
still a woman
bending in the shadows
merely shadows

7. a limp body
gentle
today
she rests
