Mistaken and misunderstood
Was told I can’t but showed them I could
I go to the past and stand where I once stood
No memories that pass through my head are good
Shadows of the past creep on me fast
I take a deep breath
Closing my eyes the war has arrived
All the good thoughts are now deprived
“You got this,don’t give up”
“What are you saying, she’s a f*** up!”
Two different voices
Two different battles
Two things that now no longer matter
“I won’t give up, and I won’t shatter”
“Bring it on”
