i think i rise and fall like tides
and bring my eyelids down like the sun
horizon dark, pushing softly back on me.
rolling shoulders like waves
hush breath, great moon eye
coffin nail vertebrae
your dark raven heart
ticks inside like a bomb.
I try not to hurt
but i am a square peg
in a round hole.
crystallized tears and starving lips
my brain unzips and out comes
a legion of neatly categorized schema.
blunt tooth strikes flint
a broken blood vessel
one day, the truth ignites
i burn like pure oxygen
quick and intense
