... He ...
it isn’t under the bed
it isn’t in the closet
it is in my head
the reoccurring nightmare
every time it brings me closer
to the truth
to the memories
that make me run
and
hide
and
cry
but most importantly
scream
in this pool of sweat i see surrounding me
holds the truth of what they did to me
and it scares me
because it actually happened to me
and my father did more than hurt me
he "used me"
