That's Love Too
It may not be the type of love you see in movies,
or the love that you marry…
But as I strolled through the crowded hallway,
I noticed the two girls cloistered in the corner by the doors,
connected at the hip like Siamese twins.
The brunette whimpers,
as they watch The Boy drift by,
hand in hand with his new prom date.
I blink to check my path,
and then glance back again
to see the same stunning girls,
both with smiles from ear to ear.
And resembling a cocoon,
they hug out the pain,
squeezing for each other’s happiness.
Mending their hearts,
as if embedding the last piece of a puzzle,
they complete each other.
I can’t help but think,
isn’t that Love too?
