West Street
There was a family that lived on West Street,
A mother, a father, boy, and girl.
They had a curious cat named Cocoa
And a dog who could talk for days.
They were the happiest family on the street
With smiles plastered onto their faces wherever they went.
All their friends were jealous of the close bond they shared,
As they heard laughs from their house.
But then the laughs were gone,
The bond was broken,
The smiles turned to frowns,
And no friend was jealous any longer.
One house split to two
Making the boy and girl alternate days.
They didn’t understand their parents’ decision
Which put them in a confused, long gaze.
There was a family that lived on West Street,
A mother, a father, boy, and girl.
However this was a different family,
Because this family was really filled with love.
