Long Island, 1950
crouched over unstretched canvas
cheap paint pours from the end of the brush
falling, splattering
A streak of grey
A streak of white
drops of black
miniscule
thin lines of eggshell
sprayed black
sprained lavender
paint on the floor
a could of lavender futility
a dust storm of a spring morning
the drunken meadow
purposeful ignoramus
powerful ignoramus
the collective bleeding
a plague of explanation
cruel abstraction
The mind drowning
in a puddle
expressionism is there
splatter is there
Alcoholism is there
So is Pollock
