But line after line he drew on his wrist
Not with a pen but with a wish.
A wish that one day everything would be fine
One day before he's out of time
His brain is clouded and he's falling apart
So he continues making his "work of art"
Then he looks down, and smiles, as he starts to bleed.


The author's comments:
This is a relatable poem for me and several others who suffer from a sever depression.
