The Oak Tree

Vines,
Wrapping around,
Running up and down,
The thick oak,
Tree,
Holding it tight,
Squeezing with might,
The vines,
Strong and bold,
Restrict the tree,
For the tree,
Wants to grow wide and up,
Into the bright sky,
But wrapped around tight,
Vines restricts the tree,
Tying it down,
Into the ground,
The tree invited the vines,
In the beginning,
With hospitality,
Enjoying the responsibility,
Now,
They are constricting,
Causing the tree,
To grow and be,
Something other then,
What it expected in its future,
And saw in its dreams.
