My Other Half
There is no one that completes you like a best friend
No parent or boyfriend could separate us two,
From family vacations to basketball we stick together like glue.
We try on dresses and pretend like we know Kung Fu,
I always do her hair so she looks like Cindy Lou Who.
When she laughs it’s almost as weird as yelling moo,
She is a panther and I am a tiger, but yet we can wear a shoe.
We always watch bad movies that are a little askew,
We love painting rooms, especially when it’s the color blue.
She always digs in when eating the family fondue,
Together we eat more food than an entire zoo.
In haunted corn mazes we rely on each other to make it through,
She’s my adopted sister that I can always turn to.
Being best friends means more to me than the entire world does to you.
There is no one in the world that completes me like my best friend.
