A
sweet-soothing perfect pitched-weapon
that I show all my glory with

Like
no other its mine to keep just for me, what does it hide?
what does it hold?

It
hides a girl quiet and weak, but with one spoken word who would have guess
because my voice it doesn't hold a quiet-weak girl, what it holds is so much more
It holds a girl bold, brave, fiery and all
My voice is my weapon, my shield, and my protection
With it i can be someone i'm not, but someone i am becoming

IT
Is MY VOICE my brave strong yet sweet-soothing-perfect pitched weapon

The author's comments:
My poem is about a young girl who doesn't have a lot of self esteem, but with her voice she can perfectly read a speech, recite a poem, and sing a song. She is trying to become the person her voice makes her.
