The Swing

Two steps and a jump,
Winding up your arm,
Pushing your hands for the thump,
Snapping down your forearm,
All together in mere seconds,
After going through the motions a hundred times,
the spike is a weapon,
that wins the game sometimes
The spasmodic sensational shock,
Of contacting perfectly,
It hurtles down as a war hawk,
it’s what gets many into universities
An absolute volleyball swing.
