Beating

My heart is open.
Still beating,
but open.
My eyes are closed,
but within it holds,
knowledge that keeps my eyes open.
Though I may hold,
all the feelings inside,
I've found numerous ways,
as it swings,
crawls,
and eventually fly.
But one thing of course.
My heart is open,
still beating,
but open.
