in a kingdom

once upon a time
in a different world
there was a kingdom
there were knights
and maidens
and damsels in distress
there were dragons
and giant snakes
and monsters
but most of all
there was
nothing
because
everything
adds up
to nothing
everything that kingdom had worked for
everything that kingdom had achieved
what does it matter?
we all die
one day
all cities crumble
one day
if you’re lucky
your memories will survive
