From the skys to the seas
My mind is full of swirling clouds,
relentless in their movement.
Battering the walls of my consciousness,
with gale force winds.
I'm fighting against them with all my soul,
but to no avail.
My soul; My soul
it aches with the pain of tragedy
and of heart-break.
My soul is like a boat that has been
demolished upon a coral reef of hurt
My consciousness is the aftermath
of a great hurricane.
A hurricane that nothing, no matter the size,
can stop.
Hope is the maiden who hath saved
me from the wreckage of my grief.
She hath saved me from my
internal demolition.
She has shown me the
way out of the labyrinth of this
aching Heart.
