You think that if you close up you are safe without any feelings attached, but you're wrong. I can see past the walls you put up that you want me just like I want you. There's still the pain we put each other through and the arguments we brushed off. I can tell it pains you to see me like it does for me to see you. I know there's a pit in your stomach when our eyes meet. I know I can't stop the pain but I can pray you find someone who won't give you what we went through. I really do hope you find someone new even though it will hurt, I would rather you be happy then lonely.
