Little kids just play all day
They run through fields
They climb up trees
They just play all day
Until it’s too dark to see
To be so young
To be so carefree
Not a worry in the world
At least through their eyes
Growing up can be boring
It can be lame
It can be scary
It can also be fun
I can be exciting
I can be anything you want
To think of the memories
Of when you were little
Makes growing up not so scary
To be as optimistic as when you were a child
Gives life itself a little smile
