the steepest fall
Hate rising,
Hope falling,
My future has come a-calling.
Falling faster,
Falling deeper,
My slope has never seemed steeper.
Feeling torn up,
Feeling broken down,
The barrier to my heart is the ground.
The father I fall,
The closer I get,
To breaking the wall and letting all it’s kept,
Fly on out in rolling waves,
Little of me will I be able to save.
Falling faster,
Falling deeper,
My journey’s end could not be sweeter.
Letting it out means pain.
Letting it out means misery.
Letting it out could cause an explosion for all of history.
But still I want it out of me.
And still I wish to share this plea.
Save me from my misery,
The world still seems to beckon me.
