Appeal and Appealing
To appeal means to either attract or charm.
But the actions of this could cause a lot of harm.
The actions someone would take for attention and time.
As simple as a lie or as tragic as a crime.
The prices we pay to be acknowledged by others.
Where secrets are hidden and an individual suffers.
From the idea that changing who you are, is good.
But the idea of changing is misunderstood.
Change for yourself and the good that it brings.
To appeal and be appealing are two different things.
A noun is something and an adjective describes.
Sometimes to appeal you have to wear a disguise.
To be appealing you first have to be yourself and unique.
How someone should be is impossible to critique.
To capture people’s respect you must be honored within.
Enjoying how you are is where happiness will begin.
