Seasons
As the school year comes to an end,
Students begin to make plans with their best friend .
Summer weather brings baseball games,
But soon the heat is too harsh and everyone complains.
Children gather round the swimming pool, SPLASH!,
Summer is over in just a flash.
The wind picks up and the temperature drops,
Farmers begin to harvest their crops.
Pumpkin patches and bonfires.
Haunted houses are crawling with vampires.
Halloween and Thanksgiving are my favorite part of fall,
But everyone is itching to throw their first snowball.
Children run outside to play, but not before their bundled up.
Not much later, mom’s make hot chocolate to warm them up.
Christmas shoppers flood the malls looking for deals.
No one forgets how opening up their presents from Santa feels.
April showers.
Bring May flowers.
Spring Break is such tease.
Students forget about school with ease.
