Favorite Quote:
we never have failures, only lessons.

Follow in my footsteps, friend
But exist in only light
Once the darkness gathers at dusk
Disappear into the night
Like an ever watching angel
Only, present in day
Intermittent when the clouds come by
But when the moon shines, you're away
Take my worries, my blackest thoughts
That I harbor in my mind
And like a banner on the ground
Cast them all behind
Darker than my darkest side
Realer than what's really me
You dance on the sun warmed asphalt road
Taller than I'll ever be

What inspired me to write this poem was my very own shadow.
