At first talking to you
was like a shooting star
bright
beautiful
full of hope
As we started getting to know each other
I was star struck
speechless at your beauty
dumbstruck by your charms
stimulated by your wit
You weren't just my sun
you were my stars
comfort after a long day
knowing you'd always be there
pinpricks in the night
what I lived for
But eventually
all stars must fall
their light goes out
they fade away
just
like
we
did
