To cherish is to release and
To love let go
Even when goodbyes are undone
No one is yours to keep
Like a feather drifting above
Forever captivity
Everyone deserves a way to never
Cease being released
Relishing in the chance to come back
Knowing ownership will not be given
Thriving in the joined time
And stolen moments
Eventually the wind will turn and
The feather will once again be free to drift
