A dream
from which i won't wake
A nightmare
in which i'm still living
Free to the stars
I rest from sun, too bright
That brings my true self to the light
To say you loved
That i would always be love
What if i let it consume me?
What if i let you in?
If i wasn't me,
Would i ever truly be free?
What would happen, if i were me
Trapped within the image of ghost
Left in the shadows of the sunlight
That brought out my true self
My former self
The one who was
The one who was two
Three, four, and forever
Free to the stars
The shadows still consume me
But at least i have witnessed the light

True to my word I could understand you right now and not know you at all, but in the end what we really have i common is the fact that we're all suffering from a greater pain.
