A lover’s embrace
A gentle touch
A silent tear
A heart is crushed
She took a chance
She fell in love
She took a risk,
She fell to lust
Her heart is broken
Her tears flow free.
Her grief is silent
But also cleansing
Her trust is fragile,
Her doubt is strong,
But she’s determined
To beat the odds
Her tears have dried
Her heart is whole
Her trust is mended
She’s fixed her soul.
