The Big Star

When I win my race feel like a big star
My dreams were coming true
And they weren’t far
I’m humble
I’m no superhero
I am unbeatable
I don’t understand why they are proud or cheer.
I just show up and win
Is losing what I fear?
When I sprint I feel free
I don’t acknowledge what’s around me
I just try to be the winner that everyone wants me to be.
Running and running
Faster and faster I push myself
I’m reaching the finish line
First place!
I proved myself
When I win I feel like a big star
My dreams were coming true
And they weren’t far.
