I'd Rather

I'd rather skin myself alive
I'd rather kiss a duck
I'd rather swim in a frozen lake
or run a ten-mile race.
I'd rather do my homework.
I'd rather mow the lawn.
I'd rather be as dumb as a rock.
I'd rather sing nonstop.
I'd rather watch a movie a thousand times or catch the chicken pox.
I'd rather do anything than clean the bathroom.
