Favorite Quote:
It's not what your country can do for you, it's what you can do for your country.

Who are you? Do you remember?
Is the pain even bearable anymore?
Do you remember anything besides the pain?
Are you stuck in a cycle of anguish?

Is this just a cruel nightmare,
Or is it reality?

It is LIFE

Life can seem endless to some people
The days just keep getting better.
Or maybe it just drags on day by day,
For the others life might be 14 years short.
Either way, life is life to them
Nothing else
Nothing more

I have lived the life of the forgotten.
I have seen the never ending cycle.
Looping from day to day
Losing track of everything,

Your own
Wants
Needs
Must haves
And LOVE.
As you break down and go
To the dark corner of your room each day
There is a glimmer of HOPE,
That you might realize one thing.
You don't want this for yourself
But, you see this is the hardest part:

Not the self-inflicted pain,
Not the horrible thoughts corroding your mind,
Not even the crying,
The hardest part is to see what YOU WANT.
To get past what you can do for others,
To help yourself.

The Capitalized words will help, if you are in this situation.

I have been through a lot of very hard times in my life and have recently started to become happier. My own overcoming of this pain is what made me write this.
