Your eyes are the kaleidoscope

that my emotions get mixed in.

I feel something weird,

that’s interesting yet confusing.

I like it but I don’t know why,

that’s bold yet fading at the same time.

I see things moving,

that’s colorful yet changes to dark.

I see the shapes,

that come and go, and the shapes,

that shape who you are.

I live in the kaleidoscope,

that spins to no end.

It’s a consecutive cycle of confusion,
That cycle I will never understand.

This piece compares the looks of a kalidoscope to the feelings of love. Love is a confusing feeling, relating to a present relationship that a friend is in.
