Broken Boulevard
I walk down the broken boulevard
As snow falls heavily to the ground
 As the cold wind blows.
With every gust my heart skips a beat
With every snowflake that falls I catch my breath
As my fingers go numb my stomach flutters
As my eyes begin to tear up I remember
I remember the reason why I am walking down this broken boulevard
I remember what set me down this path
 I remember who broke me.
She was the most beautiful angel I had ever seen
 My world flipped on itself
I discovered emotions I'd never felt before
She revealed sides of me I didn't know I had
The old me was broken, fractured, shattered
So I walk down the broken boulevard
Hoping to reach the end so I can be fixed and mended
So that I can be reborn
 In a different form
So that I may deserve to be by her side
So that I may earn her love
