Love

What is true love?

It’s indescribable, it is unimagined.

You see we all think love is the affection we give to someone

we think love is marriage and love is family,

but no, it is far more than what we imagine..

Let me tell you what true love is.

Love is a hanging on cross for your sins and my sins,

Love is dying for family, friends and even enemies.

Love is bearing pain for those who don’t deserve it.

You see, me, you and everyone;

we’re all on a train; the train of Life.

We are headed somewhere; always busy and

we don’t pay attention to the world around us

Compassion and caring is lost in the fast going world.

We don’t even realize that the track we’re on is about to end..

We need to stop. That red light is shining.

You see God has given us these lights that tell how far we can go

and when we have to stop.

To believe or whether not to believe,

it’s all up to us but that’s why so many of us have

fallen so deep and we just can’t get up!

And you don’t know when your train is headed for the wreck;

you can’t see that his love has kept you and watched you

even though your train is about to come right off that track…

Even though you might be sitting, heating up that last

dose of meth, he sees you;

He understands that everyone deserves a second chance..

Can your mind comprehend the face; the face of our

loving Father, as his only Son took his last breath?

Now in that moment you realize that he let his son die for you,

I hope in that moment you drop what you’re doing!

Just stop!

The world full of all the pain and all the hurt,

He did it for you; God gave his son for you!

God did it so we can’t come to him in our pain and say

“God but you don’t understand!”

No, he did it so we can come in those times to him,

because he is the ONLY one who understands

and he waits patiently for you to come,

to fall on your knees and cry out to him.

He wants you to realize that Jesus was there.

No matter the pain, the sorrow, the hurt

God’s sacrifice was perfect,

And it was all because of one word;

LOVE.
