It's the abyss of all wars,
the beginning of all chores.
The cause of screams and cries,
the cause of people that died.
Even if it doesn't kill us all
physically,
It does break us down
mentally.
You see the abolishment of
what you used to call home.
You see families torn apart,
and hearts broken to two.
The war of all wars
is not during the fight.
The aftermath of it all,
is the destruction at its height.

There has been a lot of contemplating arguments between my classmates and I about what is the worst part of war, and what does war do to the human population, and much more. So, I decided to put my feelings and thoughts into a poem!
