You are alone,
abandoned,
old and unloved,
left to live your days
with just yourself.
In quiet
serenity,
peaceful and
comforting,
you sit alone.
Yellow and green
all around.
The back of your
most beloved
moving away.
There you sit,
broken,
sad.
Old you may be,
undesirable,
sitting in your bed
of lush green grass,
but you are still
beautiful
to me.
