Needing to get high to get by,
Living a lie
I sometimes ask why?
Life is passing them by,
ODing in a blink of an eye.

A few bad decisions can create everlasting hardship,
How can something so stupid be so satisfying?
Cannot see the deeper message,
Believing that giving in is not a sin.

When the devil wants you to give in,
Say never!
