There’s a knot in my stomach
That won’t unravel
That refuses to untangle
And it pains me
There’s a knife in my head
That twists ever deeper
That punctures my thoughts
And it pains me
There’s a burning on my limbs
That tell me to stop
That push me to go
And it pains me
There’s an arrow in my heart
That I saw coming
That I thought I could handle
But the pain is excruciating
I feel the portal in my hands
That could swallow me up
That could quiet my soul
And I no longer feel pain
