Towards the comforting, captive, caressing light
Which releases a strong gold glazed rope
Reeling us in- weightlessly through thick skies- a God given Grace

Damaging, as the torture ignites constant worry birthed trembling
Fighting
Sweaty palms tightly grasp for the dearest life through dangerous, drastic times
Glistening, Sparkling, dazzling hope
Allowing the caressing light
To paint us as we are allowed to loosen our grasp and breathe crisp, clean air
Purifying us from the highest height of our heads to tipsiest tip of our toes
Beauteous sunset, cream orange coats us forming peace and protection
