Too tall,
too short,
too weak,
too stupid,
too slow.
People are not good
to each other.
Seeing only imperfect,
they seek the imperfect.
Knowing only cynicism and
materialism,
they condemn it,
while thoroughly reaping its extolls.
Blacks are not good to blacks,
whites are not good to white,
government is good to no one.
As the ice
of this world cracks,
and the flesh of those
in refusal to conform melts,
society seeks the wrong imperfects,
and they assimilate in the synergy.

The hopelessness of humanity inspired me. I don't know what I expect the reader to get from this. As long as they get something, anything at all, I'll be satisfied.
