Their eyes hardly make a connection
between the name and
its owner;
even though your identity is no secret,
with a tag pinned precisely
on your cleaned shirt.
But still,
you’re important enough
to be given the pleasure
of answering their burning questions
and catering to their every demand.

This is your sole
purpose in life;
to please them.

But you have bigger hopes.
Maybe one day,
after many countless tiring hours,
you’ll be on the other side
witnessing others stuck
in the working world.
