Relationship With Time
Time is quickly passing and falling off the clock
Diminishing at each moment to never return the same
Hands will come around, but won’t touch like the past
You can’t go back to fix what was, but only move forward again
Down the line we go ticking closer then farther away
Like waves on the beach that don’t quite always make it to shore
The indecisive moon causing the deep blue motions, inevitably we go back and forth
What seems like the same old thing due to familiar times of day
When reality, every minute and each second is always a change
Never to freeze and never to stop
Always to come and always to go
