The Unheard Opera

Behind the curtain a silhouetted golden voice resonates.
Intended for no one, but to hide such beauty is a sin.
This magnificent sound however transcends such wrongdoings.
Its purity maintains the ability to wash away transgressions,
to cleanse a soiled soul, and to condition a defeated heart.
If only this melody was able to be heard
by more than just its composer.
For once the artist emerges from the studio
the talent is lost,
and the lyrics are washed down the drain.
