The Pain That Comes with Falling in Love

I tried so hard this time,
I really did.
And I love you so much.
And everyday that goes by
Without you in my life is killing me.
And I miss you so much
Like the flowers dying in the winter,
Begging for the sun that is no longer there.
And I haven't really smiled since you ended it.
And I haven't really breathed right since you walked away.
And I don't know if I'll find
Real happiness again like when I was with you.
And if we are being honest…
I hope the same goes for you.
