An Inconvenient Truth

That I am chained to the
Wall in a foreign country
Is untimely and genuine
That I am bound hand
And foot in a stranger’s
Basement is a bothersome fact
That I fight for my
Freedom day in and day
Out is a valid inopportunity
But that I am living these days
As a girl without freedom is
Is the inconvenient truth
