This Bittersweet Symphony of Ours

You beat and rip to crush their beauty,
Cry and soar across my vision.
But this love is a bittersweet symphony
You know that I would trip the wind
To see you smile
Or to leave this twisted mirage
Of the life I’ve built behind me
Can’t you see that I would do anything,
Be anything to leave all this behind,
To escape my pain, my torment?
