A Life
A life
A life could be snuffed out
With the clattering of pills
The squealing of wheels
A gush of blood
An untied shoelace
And a flight of stairs
Or a dark alley
And someone’s ill will
A life is precious
And so fragile
We should cherish life
But we throw it away
For short lived glee
And long term regret
